50th ANNIVERSERY CELEBRATION: RESERVATION DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 15. PARTY IS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 15.

GUN SHOW
The CSC semi-annual Gun Show is set for September 23 & 24, 2006, in the Clubhouse. Show times are:
Saturday, September 23rd, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, September 24th, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Note - the show ends at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Gun Show Work Party dates are set for Friday, September 22nd, 9:00 a.m. till done to clean and setup for the Show and Monday, September 25th, 9:00 a.m. till done to take down and cleanup from the Show. Work hours Credits will be given.
Desserts (Pies & Cakes ONLY) are also needed for the Show Kitchen. Work Hours Credits will be given for help and desserts (1/2 hour per dessert). Please bring your desserts in disposable containers. It is very hard to return containers when we don’t know whom they belong to.

Next match is September 30, 10AM, Range 1. Come early if you want to shoot the first relay. In August the first relay was full at 9:15. The Special Challenge Match will be for SKS rifles.
Mauser
Match rules
are center-fire rifles with open sights, but we have added the rifle class
"Ordonnanzgewehr" using the German rules, unaltered military bolt
action infantry repeating rifles, for the remainder of this year. This
opens the shooting to the M1903-A2, M1917, Enfield No. 4's, Arisakas, FR-8s,
etc.
2006 King's Shoot: Max Koehl, the reigning Schuetzenkoenig, will host the annual King's Shoot, the Bird Shoot and the Rim-fire Speed Match on November 12th at Range #1. All you need to bring is a .22 rimfire rifle, preferably a semi-automatic, sufficient ammunition, and eye and ear protection. Max will provide some food and refreshments. Mark your calendars for this chance to experience some centuries' old Germanic shooting traditions and to have some good shooting camaraderie.
