ANNUAL CLUB ELECTIONS
YOUR Club’s 2004 elections will be held on Tuesday, November 11th, at 6:30 P.M. All members are welcome to come and cast YOUR vote for the 2004 Officers (President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer), one (1) open 2003-2004 Board Seat, and four (4) open 2004-2005 Board Seats. Known candidate’s names will be published in next month’s (November) newsletter.

HUNTER EDUCATION CLASS

LAKE NEWS
The IL-DNR recently checked out our Club’s Lake and made some recommendations regarding fishing limits to improve the size and quality, of the fish in our Lake. Therefore, the Board decided that -- EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2003, AND FOR THE NEXT 12 MONTHS, NO BASS WILL BE TAKEN FROM THE LAKE. IF YOU CATCH ANY BASS YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY RETURN THEM TO THE LAKE. IN ADDITION, YOU MAY KEEP ONLY 2 CATFISH PER DAY AND A TOTAL OF 6 PANFISH (BLUEGILL, CRAPPIE, SUNFISH, ETC.) PER DAY. Paul Aaron, (309) 274-2370, Lake Chairman, has posted new signs with this information around the Lake.

CLUB WEB SITE & E-MAIL NOTICE
The newsletter and calendar are available for viewing on-line. Back issues of the newsletter are available as well and the club activities information are periodically updated. Check it out. The web site address is listed at the top of each monthly newsletter.
Many of you newer members and some of you older members have provided the Club with your e-mail address. The Club will be e-mailing you your monthly newsletter. If you have provided your e-mail address and have not received your monthly newsletter via e-mail, please let us know via e-mail so that we can get your correct e-mail address. (Some of the e-mailed newsletters have come back as undeliverable due to a bad e-mail address) You will also continue to receive a hard copy of the newsletter, until we hear from you that the e-mail version is sufficient. The Club can then delete your name from the club newsletter printing and mailing list. This will save the Club money (just over $.50 per). Tim Vik is the CLUB WEBMASTER and E-MAIL coordinator.
